MTC PMS Version 7.5 Service Release 3

MTC is constantly working to improve the PMS software to meet users' needs.  The current list of enhancements for Version 7.5 are as described below:

 

Scenarios

- Changed the program to count only the seals in the management sections that have sufficient funding to be applied.

- Changed program to properly track the movement of a management section between PCI categories.

Export Inspection Units

- Added ability to export No_distress flag from the pavement management program.

Import Inspection Units

- Added ability to import No_distress flage from inspection file.

- Changed the program to import inspections with special designated as -1 (Yes).

- Added ability to designate whether or not the first line of an inspection file is a header (i.e. do not import the first line) or data (i.e. import the first line). The program will use this information when it imports files the same name.

- An ASCII import routine has replaced the 5.5 import routine.

Updated On-Line Help

- Added the file format for "Improve Road Inventory", "Import Inspection Units", and "Import Video Log."

- Added Technical Appendix that provides a listing of all files and file dependencies that are shipped with MTC PMS 7.5.

Report Dislay Issues

- Fixed various report formats to eliminate "hidden text", "wrap arounds", and "Selection Criteria."

Report Selection Criteria

- In Inspection Unit Form: Added Selection Criteria for Area ID, Functional Class, Funding Source, General Code, Street ID, Street ID + Section ID, and Surface Type.
