MTC received 63 applications for P-TAP Round
8. The following 40 Bay Area jurisdictions were selected to receive
Surface Transportation Program (STP) funding combined with the jurisdiction's
local matching funds of 11.47% to establish and maintain their pavement
management systems. Project scopes may include one or all of the
following tasks:
- PMS Implementation and Maintenance
- PMS/GIS Integration
- Pavement Design
Jurisdictions receiving the grants was notified
by mail on August 30, 2006. The projects are expected to begin in
October 2006, and must be completed by September 30, 2007.

Consultants for P-TAP Round 8 are: AMS, EIS, GeoData, Harris,
Kleinfelder, Nichols, Pavement Engineering, Farallon Geographics,
Adhara Systems, Fugro, IMS, and Stantec. MTC will try its best
to assign consultant according to recipient's choice on the
application.
