New Features

General

1) Application is now a 32-bit application supporting Windows 2000 and Windows XP.

2) The database has been changed to SQL Server 2000.

3) New User-Friendly Interface - Allows core modules to be easily accessible from the main screen and supports multiple modules to be opened concurrently.

Section Description Screen

1) Events - Users can view the impact of different events on a road segment by marking any event, such as inventory, inspection, or M&R, as inactive or active.

2) Attach Document - Users can attach supplemental documents, like JPG, MPEG, or DOC files, to provide background information on specific road segments.

3) Filter/Sort Tool - Allows users to search and filter road network database.

4) Refresh of lookup fields - Provides one click refresh of lookup fields on the section screen without exiting the screen when adding Road Name, Area ID, General Code, or Funding Source.

5) PCI history and M & R history are now integrated into Events.

Calculation Screen

1) The scenarios calculation engine now allows to user to add pre-defined projects to the scenarios.

2) The 600 section limit has been dropped for calculating M&R PCI and inspection PCI.

Inspection Unit Screen

1) Allows users to change the inspection date of all inspection units on a section.

2) Filter/Sort Tool - Allows users to search and filter road network database.

Custom Report Wizard

1) The Custom Report Wizard can be run as a stand alone product.

2) CRW now has more formatting options.

Reports

1) The report screen can be run as a stand alone product.

Project Selection (New Screen)

1) This screen allows users to designate portions of the road network for running project specific scenarios to customize their maintenance program, or construction packages. The treatment and costs for those groups or sections will be fixed so that scenarios analysis can be conducted with those sections, costs, and treatments selected prior to other segments.
