| Jurisdiction |
The Jurisdiction tab is illustrated below.
At the top of this tab is an unlabeled text field. The name of your jurisdiction should appear in this field. Inside the Needs and Scenarios Criteria heading are three fields. The Low Confidence Interval and High Confidence Interval fields define the envelope outside of which the PCI is projected by shifting the family curve through the performance point. The points which fall the within the envelope are adjusted from the family projected PCI by an adjustment factor. The points which fall outside the envelope are projected by shifting the family curve to pass through the point. The other field in this section is PCI Effectiveness. This field contains the minimum PCI value used in calculating the area under the projected performance curve. That area is used in ranking sections needing work, and the area below the PCI Cut-Off value is not included in that area. It should generally be the lowest PCI value that defines the minimum acceptable condition for all of the pavement types and functional classification groupings. Please contact your StreetSaver support provider before changing any of these parameters. The radio buttons found in the Inspection Unit Method allow you to indicate how the Inspection Units will be defined. If you select the Standard Unit Length radio button, the inspection units will be 10% of the total area of the road section. The 10% area will be divided into lengths of 50 feet if the road is at least 40 feet wide or lengths of 100 feet if the road is less than 40 feet wide. If you select the 10% of Area button, the inspection units will be 10% of the total area but, the length of each inspection unit will be calculated based on the witdh of the road. Back |
