StreetSaver Main Screen

When you open StreetSaver, a splash screen appears while all of the necessary files are loading. This screen disappears as soon as the necessary files are loaded.

If security is turned on for this system you will have to login before the main screen will appear. If security is not turned on, the main screen of this system will appear when all the essential files are loaded.

The main screen serves as a doorway to the screens contained in this system. Also, you can access the utilities from this screen. The main screen is illustrated below.



From the File menu you can jump straight to the View Scenarios section on the Calculations Screen. The buttons on the toolbar open the screens included in this system. Each button is displayed below, next to a brief explanation of the screen.

The Section Description screen is used to view and manage management sections. Maintenance and rehabilitation information is also entered on this screen.

The Inspection Units screen is used to create an inventory of the current condition of a road section. A decision to add new information to an existing record is typically initiated because an on-site inspection of a road section has been completed.

The Calculations screen allows you to calculate PCI values from inspection unit information and from management section information. On this screen, you can calculate budget needs and scenarios.

The Project Selection screen provides the ability to develop and maintain projects that can be selected in the Scenarios process. A project is a group of selected management sections. Within this group, treatments can be defined by management section and year. Using the Project Selection option allows the user to predefine treatments by management section/year during the Scenarios Analysis.

The Maintenance Treatments screen provides the ability to develop and maintain the treatment decision tree used in the Needs and Scenarios Analysis process.

The Table Maintenance screen provides for viewing and maintaining system tables. These system tables are used throughout the application,

The View Scenarios screen provides for the viewing of information that has been calculated during the Scenarios Analysis process.

The Road Inventory screen is where the number, name, and ID of each road in your jurisdiction is entered.
