Calculations: Budget Scenarios

Note: Before you begin calculating scenarios, you must calculate budget needs.

The budget scenarios option enables you to test funding alternatives on your road network. The Budget Scenarios screen is shown below.

In this screen you can calculate scenarios, view a list of scenarios, build a scenario using the Scenario Wizard and view a current scenario.

  • Use the Start Calculations button to begin calculating the selected scenarios. To select a scenario, click on the left side of the row. You can highlight multiple scenarios. The highlighted scenarios will be calculated on the next run.

  • In the Scenarios list box you have five fields showing:
    Description: This field displays the user supplied description of the scenario.
    Selected Projects: The selected projects field indicates how many projects are selected.
    Current Reporting: Mark this box to have this scenario's results used in reports (only one scenario can have the results included in the reports at any time).
    Calculated: This box signifies this scenario has been calculated.
    Date Calculated: This field indicates the date and time the scenario was calculated.

  • To build a scenario using the Scenario Wizard, click the button at the bottom of the screen.

  • To view the current scenario, click the button at the bottom of the screen.
