Deterioration Curve

The Deterioration Curve tab provides a graphical representation of the projected deterioration of the management section. When inspections are made on the road sections, PCI history indicators are added to the graph. If road repairs are made, the historical indicators will be added. The Deterioration Curve tab is illustrated below.

The top of the tab contains a read-only section titled Management Section. This section indicates which management section the graph is related to. The fields included in this portion of the tab are explained below.

Street ID
Street ID is a unique identifier for a road or street.
Section ID
Section ID is a unique identifier for a portion of a road or street defining a management section.
Street Name
Street Name displays the full name of the street including Street, Way, Court, etc.
Mileposts
The Milepost fields indicate the point on the road where the section begins and the point where a section ends.
Beg. Location
Beg. Location is the point that defines the beginning of the section, usually the name of a cross street or other landmark.
End Location
End Location stores the point that defines the end of a section, usually the name of a cross street or other landmark.


The bottom portion of this tab contains a graph of the profected deterioration of the PCI value for this management section. Above this graph lies a toolbar that will change the look and feel of the graph. This toolbar is a non-supported function; therefore, use caution when making changes to the graph.
