The Road Inventory screen contains a comprehensive list of all the roads and road sections in your jurisdiction. Roads and road sections are listed by road number, road ID, and road name. The Road Inventory screen is illustrated below.
The fields that appear on this screen are defined below, with required fields underlined.

Road Number

Road Number contains the number assigned to a road by the agency or state. |

Road ID
|
Road ID contains a two-character identifier assigned to the road. |

Road Name
|
Road Name displays the name of the road that corresponds to the road number, road ID combination. Only these names can be used as street names in StreetSaver. |

Last Modified
|
Last Modified stores the date and time of the last modification to a row in the grid. This information is copied from the computer's internal clock and cannot be edited. |
When you click on the Road Inventory button, the Road Inventory screen appears. The grid on this screen is read-only. The text boxes at the bottom of the screen are used for adding or editing on this screen. The following are available features on this screen:

| - | Delete a road section from the Road Inventory table. |
| - | Edit a Road Number, Road ID, or Road Name. |
| - | Save a new road section or changes to a road section. |
| - | Cancel any additions or changes to road information. |
| - | Conduct searches in the Road Inventory for roads by name. |
| - | Sort data in the Road Inventory table by selected criteria. |
