This manual is intended to assist the
inspector in rating flexible (AC) or rigid (PCC) pavements. Descriptions of each
of the pavement distress types used in the Bay Area PMP are
presented and include using the following: appearance, causative
factors, identity and characteristics of three levels of severity,
and how to measure the extent of damage. Photographs are provided
to aid the inspector in identifying the distress types and severity
levels. |
